The Passionate Pinks of Charlotte County was founded in 2007 for the purpose of educating women on the importance of early detection through breast self-examination and mammograms.
Every year our group supports the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure held in Estero. We support Susan G. Komen for the Cure of SW Florida Affiliate in other fundraisers throughout the year.
Our support also goes to Dollars for Mammograms. This non-profit organization provides free mammograms to those who are under or uninsured in our local area.
We coordinate Project Hope in Charlotte County by working with The Florida Cancer Specialists in Port Charlotte. This program provides newly diagnosed breast cancer patients with specially designed tote bags containing comfort items and educational material.
